The fairytale land of Ireland has been the location of many medieval movies, partly because of its many historic castles. Not just vacant and cordoned-off visitor's sites, many of Ireland's castles have been restored to luxury and offer accommodations that will make visitors feel like kings and queens, with sumptuously appointed rooms befitting royalty, rambling estate grounds, and attentive staff. Imagine lady fair being swept off her feet by her dashing prince in the elegantly restored ballroom of a grand castle.
